    main oven burns on one side ,good even flame ,where should the vented shelf go out of interest.
    Also grill not spreading across the mesh just across the front ,any ideas ?

    Take a look at the oven door seal, that can cause lose of heat at one side and gives the impression that it is burning on the other side.
    Also worth checking what size of tray is being used as this can stop the heat circulating if the tray is as wide or deep as the oven.

    Grill sounds like the burner plaque is damage and drawing air or the injector could be blocked.

    i think the vented “shelf” is a lid liners goes right in the top of the oven…also sounds like you need to check your gas pressure at the meter and at the appliance!!

    Grill should only be across the front, its not a particularly big flame on them either so wont go back too far on the mesh.
