Original fault won’t start.
Found broken wiring in the door, pieced it out and tested it, all ok.
Got a call today, electrical noises and flashes inside the tub.
Water has been leaking through the latch hole and onto the butt connectors.
On checking the door I remembered they mentioned a plumber friend had lifted the door recently unsuccessfully trying to sort out the original fault. When (after scratching my head for a while) I came to put back the decor door,I sussed what had happened. The plumber had lifted the front legs only, causing the machine to tip enough to let the machine latch but the door was still partially open. Tested the machine after refitting my connectors and at first it worked. Reinstalled it all and now the on/off indicator will not come on and the programme aborts with a beep after draining for about 30 seconds. When the door is opened no lights (at all) are on. switch it on again and the same thing happens.
My guess is that the stratgically placed board has got dripped on so I’m back tomorrow to do some stripping.
Any other ideas.TC
