LG american Fridge freezer – GSL761WBXV = Not pumping water

I visited this is late september and found that the water pump at the rear was hummimg, so not able to pump any water to the dispenser…… I clearly remember hearing it humming and feeling a vibration from it — I ordered the pump and waited until it only recently arrived.

Fitted it this morning but when tested it didn’t do anything….. No noises when the machine switched on or when the water container was put into position, didn’t hum, buzz or vibrate just nothing!!

I then wired in the old one and still nothing….. I’m 99.9{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure was humming on my visit back in sept and the cx recalls a buzzing sound before she rang me

Any ideas what going on please as I’m very confused about this one!!
