I’ve just moved house and discovered that I can’t fit my LG Fridge Freezer through our rather narrow kitchen doorway – is it possible to take the doors of these things off without damaging any electricals? I don’t have the foggiest about electrics, but I’m assuming that there must be something on the door where the icebox is..

    Its a GR-L206CVQA : http://www.comparestoreprices.co.uk/ima … 06cvqa.jpg

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Yes, it is possible. The user guide gives the procedure. There is an electrical connector under the cover of the upper hinge of the freezer door and possible also the fridge door (model dependent) which needs to be disconnected before removing the door. It’s a simple plug-together connection so no real electrict knowledge needed.

A google of your model number will turn up the user guide if you don’t have it.
