    Can anyone tell me the value of the fuse on the main control board situated at the top /front of the machine. The board has been covered all over with gel, but i can dig out the fuse cant make out the value though!

    Dont bother,Its an PCB component failure that causes it to blow.The boards wasnt too expensive until Connect got hold of them.

    Hi

    the original part number would be on the board but this is Connects part number 5031688448384 £81.00 plus vat double the original LG price. bear in mind that connect have stopped putting the manufacturers part number and have started using there own.

    You must confirm with customer the date of manufactor of the appliance there have been changes in production with the PCB. Check date & Confirm model number.

    Hi Bryan dont use Connect, but cant find any other supplier with this module in stock. The number on the module is 6870ec9121b, could you please check to see if the connect pat number above is the same 😕

    (LGE6871ER1009A) is the part number converted from Bryans post.

    You could always call JTM who is now the main dealer for LG 6871ER1009F and get price should be around £68 + vat This should be the correct part number for that model.

    Did JTM turn out to be the best/cheapest supplier, how do I contact them?

    Anyone know if EMW repair these boards?

    I not sure if EMW can repair as these boards as all components are gelled?
