Would be interested to hear your comments/experiences regarding LG direct drive machines.
Thinking of purchaing one of their 9kg capacity units eg F1403FD.
Failing that, are the new Panasonic machines on par with Bosch, Siemens etc?

i like lg machines, very quiet, fairly reliable

the only real issue is sometimes the recirculation pump can be noisy and need replacing

the ise brigade will be here shortly, and try and convince you theyre better

i cant comment on that cos i never dealt with them

The LGs tend to eat drum bearings, this in turn damages the motor.

Panasonic is currently a complete unknown.

i find that a bearing change on an lg is usually after 7 years or so. lets face it thats a lot better than the usual merloni garbage that can cost a lot more.

Panasonic now made by Vestel! Nuff said on that point.

LG good for what it is though.
