All been done, Mal – this is very informative:
http://www.yourgreendream.com/diy_instructions.phpLG ‘got’ the direct drive technology from F+P, so you should be able to adapt from the above.

The turbine idea interests me somewhat, but i’d think the wattage you would get out would be quite small. were you gonna use it to charge a battery pack or what had you in mind.
I’d like to hear how you get on, best of luck with the project.Remember my fellow countrymen at Steorn had an idea of free energy which caused a bit of storm…
Their concept of perpetual motion has not been proven or disproven for that matter yet.

Chris. Thanks Chris………. I had not seen this site but I was aware of the F/P motor being used “down under” it’s just we ain’t got em here, unless you know different 😉
As far as I can make out nobody has experimented with the LG motor, I have a lot of interest with the boys “down under” over the LG on another forum :rolls: this is why I need to get hold of a LG I just don’t fancy paying new price for one if I may end up destroying it 😥 , here’s hoping that someone has one. 🙂
Seamy, I believe that you could be able to get a few hundred watts @12v out of one of these, charge batteries and convert with inverters
