Please, someone must have an idea……posted a while ago asking someone to help with putting a door catch (spring loaded) back onto an LG1280fhd door. Is there no diagram anywhere. surely these spring activated catches must be somewhat universal and maybe used on other machines? I just have no idea what position the spring goes in relation to the handle etc. I would have taken note but the whole thing fell apart when i took the screws out!! Is there an Lg clever person out there or even someone who could perhaps take the inner off their door a take a pic, post it on site… I know, what a pain i am!! Please help. Dee 😥

To answer a couple of points…
No, they are not universal, they are unique to LG.
No, there will be no diagrams on how to fit it I’m afraid, we rarely see sight of such a rare thing.
Best bet is hanging on till one of the guys (or gals) that have done one sees this thread.

Guess that’s what i’l have to do.
