The CLEAN FILTER light is on and the dryer doesn’t start.

I removed the large cover on the back side, and tried to help the motor by spinning the fan. Now, the dryer starts and the CLEAN FILTER light goes of. When stop and start the same problem occurs..

Anyone have the same problem? Please help…

Probably the motor start capacitor needs replacing. Power off if going in…and it’s not advisable to have power on with panels removed :zap:

    Ok, thanks for reply.

I did remove the motor, cleaned it and reassembled it. Without load it works fine, with clothes inside it’s the same problem.

I’ll try and find the parts and repalce it. Any ideas where to find a cheap capacitor?

    Cheers,
