LG F1403FD Eats clothes

Hi just wondered if anyone else has come across this problem with the 9kg LG
washing machine eating socks etc, The gap between the inner drum and door seal is quite wide and stuff can get dragged through quite easily it seems just wondered if this is a common fault or a one off, Interested in any comments on the subject .Thanks Larry.

Common problem with most makes of front loaders. Usually most associated with overloading where larger bulky items force the smaller items forwards and into to gap. To ‘mind the gap’ completely wash smaller, loose items inside a specially designed laundry bag.
