LG F1443KDS motor not turning properly and LE error

This is direct drive type 10 years old. Suggestion this could be stator fault but I am not sure. Drum turns ok by hand no bearing movement but as soon as prog set and motor turns bearing type noise and drum wont turn.
Wondering whether new stator is needed and also the rotor assembly as well.
Any help appreciated as have no experience with this machine.

Personally I have not ever seen a stator fail on one of these – not to say it can’t happen but not common in my experience, the stator has got three connections and you should get the same resistance reading between any two.

I would suggest trying the hall sensor assembly (connect part no:5045382364024) first as I have seen a few of those fail and they are cheap.
