customer tells me it will wash ok, but motor will hunt but won’t go into a spin, just seeking some advice never have worked on this make, need some advice please, I believe it isn’t a brushed motor !! possible pcb fault !!

if its a direct drive motor then no brushes motor is electronically generated 3 phase
if it is direct stator look like this

you could check stator, loose plugs and wires but if the fails then its the pcb

Just found your thread. I think these have a ‘out of balance’ system on them and occasionally wont spin if the load is heavy or erratic. They will just distribute but not full spin.
