    Hi All

Quick question for you all, I have just replaced part of the outer tub on this machine for what I initially thought was an hole caused by an impact, after having a closer look at the old part I found several areas where it appears to have cracks from flexing (for example – both sides at the rear of the sides of the tank), my guess is that the machine flexes and twists slightly at times when it is going to spin and that this may be the cause. I decided to have a closer look at the suspension setup as the customer said that the drum always moved quite a bit and has chewed the inner edge of a couple of door seals pretty soon after fitting. I can see 2 dampers on the machine (1 either side) which I can see would reduce twisting or up and down movement but has no effect (as far as I can tell on back and forth), I also see 3 springs with legs – do any of these have dampers built into them or are they just springs?

Yes that looks like the system.
It has got one of these AGM72924807 shock absorbers at the rear but I don’t know if there is supposed to be a damper built into it or not. It also has a similar part (different part no) each side at the front along with a couple of traditional dampers.

had to change the rear boot on one. That was real fun lol

only good thing is since the tub is fixed you can take all the sides off after undoing 1.3 million screws
