Hi,
I have noticed that the drain pipe at the bottom of the door seal is no longer draining away the water. There is now always a puddle of water left.
I have tried to carefully unblock it using thin but none sharp objects to try and free up the blockage. But I have failed.
I removed the bottom plate so I could inspect what was there because when I try and press a bendy straw or some think fish tank rubber tubing down the hole I get so far then it comes to a stop.
When inspecting the rubber pipe that attaches to the drain hole seems to do a U turn leading back into the drum. But without taking the whole washer face off I cannot see what is inside the drum that is stopping me from being able to pass a small bendy object through the drain pipe and out into the drum.
When I shine a very bright light from inside the bottom of the washer into the drum. From the inside I can just about see a black cap. But my view is very much obstructed.
Does anyone know what goes on from the drain hole at the bottom of the door seal and if there is anything obstructing a clearance if I was to try and unblock the blockage?
Is there some kind of cap on the other end ?
Any help very much appreciated.
thanks
