lg fridge freezer

i have a lg frost free fridge freezer of which the freezer part is working fine but the fridge is not cool at all. we have turned it off over night and back on again with no luck. have taken off the inside back panel and their is a build up of ice which i am trying to remove. should this solve the problem or could it be something more serious ? it is only about 16 months old !!

hi

switch the appliance off for 24hrs with both doors left open then restart the appliance.

if it fails again within 4 weeks then you have a problem with the defrost system,normally the thermal overload/defrost sensor assembly.

if it does not fail again then the most probable cause is that the door was not shut correctly at some point previously.
