    MODEL; GRL206CPQA

    this fault is with the ice dispenser, it was working perfectly fine yet all of a sudden it will not dispense ice cubes only crushed ice.
    Is this in need of an engineer or is it user error?

    the relay behind rear panel that lifts the bar to change from crushed to cubed has failed/frozen or the pin has come out of the lifter.

    or youve taken the bucket out, and put it back in with the bar on the underside of the solenoid… thats the usual scenario, altough i have seen the pin break on the solenoid before
