I’m having a problem in that this machine makes ice and dispenses it into the bucket but doesn’t come out of the bucket into a glass when you press for the ice.

I thought it was the main pcb at first because when you press for ice the relays just click and NO noise comes from the solinoid or grinder motor… then I checked power to the connector block in the freezer door that the ice maker parts fit onto and got a reading of between 56-84volts when I pressed for the ice to come out.

After testing both the grinder motor and solinoid valve to be what I believe to be working ok, I found that the small blue part attached to the valve wiring was open curcuit – so I’ve ordered the complete grinder/valve and ice maker unit BUT even though the solinoid has a higher reading than the original one, the blue part is still open curcuit?
    What am I to do??

Is there supposed to be a full 240v coming from the pcb to the plug to all the ice maker parts fit into or not, as I’m guessing a reduced voltage to the grinder motor was good because it needs to turn slowly and not at full power!!

Please, any help would be great
