lg fridge freezer over freezing

Hi I have an LG fridge freezer ( freezer above fridge) It is over freezing in the fridge compartment. From reading various posts I think it needs either a new thermostat or new thermistor.
I can not find the part(s) I need, can anybody help?

Model number is GR-322-3828JD8250K (taken from the instruction booklet) Unit is approx 6 years old) We bought it new.

Hi Tim,

Get the model number from the actual rating plate and I’ll try to track it down as best I can for you and have a look at the configuration if possible. Instruction books are not to be trusted.

Hi K thanks for the reply, the fridge is in Spain so it will be the end of June before I can get the actual details. I hope this is ok.

Hi Tim,

Was that machine bought in Spain as there’s nothing coming up for it which wouldn’t be a shock if it was bought over there?

We often get this, some models are only sold in certain territories and, if that’s the case, you’d have to get spares locally for it.

Mission impossible I’m afraid in most cases as, to us, it’s just a model number and part number and that’s the only way that you can identify most spares. If you can’t identify the part by part number you usually haven’t a chance unless it’s something really common.

Even if it was in stock somewhere and corresponds to a UK part, which is probable, the trouble is identifying the UK part number to get it.

WHERE ABOUTS IN SPAIN ARE YOU I KNOW OF THE LG SPARES IN ALICANTE ALSO TRY LGS WEBSITE IN SPAIN THINK THERE IS A TRANSLATION BIT AND YOU CAN TYPE IN YOUR MODEL YOU DO GET A GR3222
