LG fridge water supply question

    Hi guys, i have a customer with a LG GWL207FBQA. The water supply had been connected (not by me) to a standard washing machine supply tap by glueing the thin blue hose into a cut off end of a fill hose, it had leaked and been disconnected by a plumber. I don’t normally do fridges so i wanted to ask if there is a connector for the thin blue hose that will go onto a standard washing machine tap? and if these fridges should have a filter?

    LG do a kit which comprises of a connector, hose and filter. connect part 5031688244351 I have used it before and found this the best way.
