    Hi,

Went out to this fridge/freezer at the start of May for what appeared to be a simple drain hole blockage problem. Ice in the bottom of the freezer and drain tray, no frost on the evaporator. Cleared out all the ice and the drainage hole and made sure water went through without problems.

A month later it did exactly the same thing, so I went back and went through the whole process again, removed the drain pipes and double checked there was no debris and no ice left.

It’s now a month later and exactly the same again 😕 Anybody got any ideas as to why the drain hole keeps freezing over ? Any help appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Jon

    Hi

One way black rubber just above the compressor will normally be sticky. Remove and leave off and that will normally be ok

Thanks Bryan. One way rubber has now been removed so hopefully it will now be ok.

    Cheers,
    Jon
