I have GSX960NSVZ FF – just under 2 years old – and it stopped dispensing ice yesterday. Reason is simply that there is no ice in the ice container, so must not have been making ice for a few days.
The three things that I’ve done (and which have failed):
1: Checked water flow – it is dispensing water perfectly
2: Disconnected the FF from mains power for 30s as some sites recommend
3: Turned ice maker off and on again
4: Held test button down for it to go through its cycle – but no water comes in at the end of the cycle
I think it’s under 24 month warranty until 12th February, although I didn’t register with them** (as I ended up in hospital very shortly afterwards), but I’d like to know if there’s something obvious I could check before booking a service call.
** I just tried to register and the site just froze (although I just got email confirmation that it is registered)
