LG GWL227HSYA side by side F/F

Hi everyone
have been asked about this LG F/F. it has a water bottle in the fridge you fill up rather than the machine being plumbed in .
problem is after the ice maker was removed to make way for large amount of food after refitting the water dispenser doesn’t work . any help would be great thanks

It needs the ice maker to go through the system checks..It has to be refitted..

thanks for that . I should have put a comma after refitted !
all parts of the ice maker are in the correct place .

There is a test button on the pub on the top of the appliance which also has a wiring diagram and also a test sequence and how to read the fault codes.

thanks r600a . I think whats happened in this case is the machine is in a shed at the side of the house and the cold weather has frozen the pump and damaged it . why do people buy expensive appliances then put them in uninsulated sheds in the garden ?
