LG Intellowasher 1376FHB

Water is running down the front of the machine everytime it takes on cold, worse I think during the rinses. It is coming out the soap drawer aperture, but I can’t make out why. Nothing has changed. It seems like the water is splashing over the top of the drawer, and running out the front. (I’m just wondering now if the machine is leaning to the front) The pipe to the drum is clear. Yes I am new here, thanks in advance.

OOPS sorry, Just worked out how to use the search thingy. I see this may be a ‘feature of this machine’ It still has some time under the 5yr guarantee so I may try ringing them Monday.

Yup, soap box needs replacing…….. You could try turning down the cold water pressure as a temporary measure.

Hi Penguin, do you mean the drawer that you put the powder in or the spray arragement above it? Or Does the whole caboodle need changing?

The box which the drawer fits into is the part to be changed.

The repair man cometh, Spoke to LG, they passed it on to an outfit called Connect, they passed on to local engineer (wonder if he looks in here? I shall ask him). He agreed that soap drawer needed changing over the phone. Should be here next week.
