LG making strange noises

Hi i went to a LG wm1622sfd washing machine which was making a rubbery groan as it was turning, this sounds to me like when the bearing seal is dry and makes noise. So i ordered a new seal and bearings to be safe and fitted them today but it is still making this noise DOH 😳 . The door seal is not touching and if u turn the drum with the door open the noise comes from inside. Oh and i used extra grease on the seal where it touches the shaft. Any help on this would be hugely appreciated thanks 🙂

the belt drive versions have a rubbing from belt to crappy pulley, but the direct drive all do it on slow tumble, damned if I know what it is but they all do it.

Thanks for the advice that is interesting as this one is direct drive but she insists it never used to make that noise and that it sounds alot louder although never when i am there ❓ Thanks for telling me that does anyone know if changing the direct drive will cure it? or is my customer imagining things :hmm:
