LG Parts Guarantee

Does anyone know who does the repairs under the five year parts guarantee that LG offers on their appliances?

I have a customer who has been told by LG (not sure who she phoned) that any independant engineer can repair the machine for her!

According to the customer, they were very difficult to get any information out of and could not quote a labour charge!

This machine has serious bearing wear as well as the usual mouldy door seal, dispenser and noisy pump etc.

Morning Bob,

If the customer has a five year guarantee she should have a certificate to prove it.

The work will be done by Repaircare.net (CDSL) through their agent, but only if she has the certificate.

I’m not aware of LG re inbursing any agent for such work, with the payment issues LG have, no serial number/no model number/no certificate = no payment, best left to the correct network.
