KeymasterBad idea IMO.
And I shouldn’t think that it will offer too much advantage, like that Samsung silver nano thing which I’ve seen.
It seems that the Asian markets want anti-bacterial stuff. 🙄

In theory sounds good however I can see this becoming a “must have” for the Yuppie brigade or an optional extra on a new build perhaps at that price.
Whirlpool bought out the pret a porter recently I wonder how that has sold ❓

I read in this week’s ERT that LG claim that it offers 99.99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sterilisation as well as improved wash performance along with increased energy efficiency. Iit seem that according to LG this is all things to all men. I’d bet it isn’t.
So I’ve mailed LG asking for the information and the data which supports the claims being made as the article is quite specific on some of the claims being made.
If LG’s press deptartment is as fast as it’s spares I’ll be waiting a while.

So it’s a tumble dryer? 😆
Part of me thinks that it sounds good, while part of me thinks it will ruin clothes.

Interestingly I got a reply from LG, well three actually. One from someone that no longer works at LG, one from someone that’s on holiday (both auto-responders) andone froma chap that sent me the press release. The press release of course doesn’t answer the questions and he’s referred me to LG’s PR company. Quite how the PR company will know the answers to the questions is beyond me but I mailed them anyways. 🙄
No doubt they’ll come back with some PR gobble-de-gook and avoid answering the questions or providing the data, which, like the eco-balls, says to me that the product doesn’t do as stated and they don’t have the test results to back the claims. It’s a wonder half these companies aren’t investigated by ASA or whatever about some of the claims made.
