    When an attempt is made to start the drier the motor hums, drum does not turn but heater goes on whilst the motor is humming. If the drum is turned gently the motor starts and seems to run O/K my best guess is that the motor capacitor is duff can you please confirm this? or any other suggestions please.

    Thanks, any chance of a part number and i will order on the phone by return then guy on the phone did not have a listing for the capacitor.

    just get a 10uf cap doesnt need to be original try the spares on this web site
