    Hi,
Instead of pumping the water out, the dryer collects the condensed water in at the back of the machine behind the main filter in the bottom of the machine. Every third load or so I have had to wick this out with numerous cloths in order for the machine to dry my clothes. If I don’t wick out the water, the clothes stay wet.
The door filter is cleaned after each load and the main filter is cleaned of wet fluff regularly. I’ve had two engineers look at the machine, clean the pipes and the second one fitted a new pump. The machine should drain into the main plumbing system about 1.2m and at a slight incline. Can anyone shed any light? Thanks.

you seem to have covered all the possible faults. if its not blocked and the pump is ok then as far as I know all that is left is the main circuit board is faulty. some dryers have a float system to detect water but this is normally by the pump so I would have expected your engineer to have checked it

also did your engineer check the pump was working before he charged you? or did he just swop the pump because he thought it was a good idea

did you actually see and keep the old pump ?

    Dave
