LG W/c WM1290FHB Water Coming From Draw

Hi,

I don`t see many LG`s so not too familiar with any idiosyncrasies they may have.

On this machine water dribbles from the draw during fill. Apparently this has been happening intermitently for 9 months but now regular. Is there a specific weakness here or is it a trial and error job?

The machine is immaculate, draw and housing pristine, jets spotless as we are soft water. Tried turning pressure down still dribbled.

Amazingly I could not find a reset procedure on this machine so when wanting to keep filling and empying I had to find the shortest prog (8mins) and wait. Needless to say I did`nt do too many. As my wife said, “it was a customer bonding time,” as he did`nt move away the whole time I was there.

Is there an `engineer in the know` reset procedure 8) .

hi laurance

this machine will need a new soap dispensor and this will cure the problem.

LG have had this problem for years now but they still bury there head in the sand and ignore it.

if you need one the part number is 4925er1002d if its available from CDSL if not we can still get it direct from LG.
