LG Washer Dryer Door not opening

Hi , I went out today to look at an LG Washer dryer modelF1496AD5 , the problem is that the door won’t open at the end of the drying cycle , no problem at the end of washing only when drying , I guess some kind of heat detection or similar ?? The customer was quite elderly and was a little vague but says that it no longer ends the drying cycle with a tune just comes to the end and goes off , she then has to start another cycle to get the door open , or at least this was my interpretation of what she was saying .
Does anybody have any suggestions as I’m kinda shooting in the dark at the moment ???

This machine is supposed to have an LED display that will indicate abnormal operations via error codes… has there been no error codes?
