Does anybody know any common faults with these ?,
have to look at one for a friend who says it went pop then nothing he then despatched it to his garage in disgust as its about 2 year old .
is there any known faults to look for and is spares available and from where ?

further to my previous post have tried the machine and does as follows-

connect up and switch on set programme and start – starts to fill and drum starts spinning (with slight screeching noise ) goes approx 2minutes then int. stops ,display shows symptom code LE (overload in motor)

    any suggestions would be helpful

    hi mjw1208

check the direct drive stator plug and socket for corrosion and water ingress caused by a leaking drum support shaft seal, if thats ok its the stator itself or the hall effect sensor which is part of the stator.

thanks for that , no sign of corrosion but have checked plugs and socket plus cleaned / tightened but no improvement overall ,
seems it may be destined for the scrap heap as cost to replace parts may be too expensive
