Hi all
went to this machine today, fills starts to wash within a couple of minutes stops with error LE flashing on the Panel.
Known error codes says LE = MOTOR LOCK ERROR – HALL EFFECT SENSOR FAULTY
Does anyone know where this sensor is situated and what this part will be listed as?
looked on Connections can’t see anthing listed as Hall effect sensor
John
hall effect sensor is at bottom of the stator behind pulley/rotor
hall effect sensors detect magnets and in this case it is detecting motor movement like the tacho on other types
does the motor move at all? if not may give same error code so may be a stator or pcb fault
this is my interpretation of fault but i may be wrong

Makes sense to try one before condemning pcb or motor.
Must say I’ve never understood what can go wrong with one of those motors. I suppose they could overheat if overloaded and the insulation burn a bit between coils.
