lg washing machine

Hi can anyone help with a lg washing machine. model F1281tds….only 2 yrs old…shows fault code LE and was not spinning up and making grinding noise occasionally when it did move the drum yet no noise and drum free when spun by hand…have fitted new motor as supplied by lg but now will spin up with nothing in but with a light load it will turn ok one way on spin but judders and grinds slightly when reversing…could it be pcb board…don’t think bearings….any help wpuld be great….cheers 😥

would try the hall sensor before anything else

Thanks for advice but as new motor fitted would a new hall sensor be in that…. If not will try it….cheers

When you say “New Motor” do you mean both stator and rotor?

Yes lg sent me both and I replaced both…this improved slightly drum rotating but still had grinding jamming sound with washing in….when drum stutters I can push motor to get it going again but it then stutters / grinds again… Strange fault… I thought complete new stator and rotor would fix it….cheers
