LG Washing Machine always heating water

Have a LG WM1437BFD

After a wash the washing is soo hot even if put onto a cold wash

even after a rinse it is hot.

Like the heating element is always on.

Have looked on net not to find much even struggling to find parts

Surely its a thermostat right?

any help would be great

have you checked your plumbing connections as it is possible you have the hot water connected to the cold inlet valve.

USUALLY IF ANY PROBLEMS IT WOULD GIVE YOU A FAULT CODE,IF I REMEMBER IF ITS A HOT AND COLD ITS THE HOT VALVE NEAREST TO THE SIDE OF THE MACHINE.

Hi, have it on cold fill only.

Even if you put the machine onto rinse it heats up the water.

everything comes out steaming literally

Its worth taking the fill hose off the back of the machine and running it into a bucket for a few minutes to be certain the plumbing is correct.
