Had one of these today, a 1280FDH Intello 7kg jobbi,

Customer saying that the machine malfunctions on the 30c quickwash, normally takes 30 minutes for the cycle. However in this case they say that machine gets to 9 mins before the end of cycle and just keeps washing ?

I found the filter was blocked although it drained but took a while, I cleaned out the filter and checked the sump and then had to stand a wait the whole 30 mins for it to get to the 9 minute section.

It got to 9 mins, then 8 and to the end, job done so I thought, arrived back at the workshop by lunchtime to find that the customer had set the appliance going again and the same fault occured.

Now the only difference is that they had a wash load in where I did not, anyone have any experience with this kind of problem on these.

Also is there any way to advance these LGs to alleviate the waiting game.

unbalanced load. all LGs do this. depending on which prog is set it will stick at different times. the cottons sticks at 12mins. They are supposed to throw up a fault code UE but they dont. I have changed modules and motors to try to rectify this problem without success, the fuzzy logic turns the drum one way then the other thats why the customer thinks its still washing, because it is a larger capacity drum if an old couple have one they wash little and hence it sticking. question the customer I bet she had a small load in at the time.

Interesting, I thought that F9 would have been registered ?

I have an LG machine myself and we have had an F9 which was an unbalanced load sure enough and very occassionally my wife gets a F9 code.

Remedy is to stop the machine and put it on a spin, and off it goes.
The customer however has not complained about the cottons and 12 mins.

    Thanks for your insight

the intello wash system senses the load more, when you put it on the drum tumbles and the leds light in sequence as it senses, before taking in water, these are more prone to the problems I described.
