LG WD-12126-RD not starting cycle

Hi Guys,
I have a LG WD-12126-RD Washer/Dryer. I have power and can select which spin speed rinse etc.. but when I press start cycle nothing happens, just sits there. Previously we could press the button a few times or leave it and come back later and it would work, but not anymore.

I have :
1. tried a board reboot
2: checked the door switch and it seems to be functioning
correctly
3. checked childlock feature 😀 , its off
4. checked the button for the start switch, all ok.
5 unplugged/plugged wires from control panel board.
6. Done a control panel board test, all ok.

Has anyone had any experience with this issue?
Any further checks I could do?
Would really appreciate some help.

My first thought was, door lock, classic symptoms.

Yep that’s what I thought too, but the check on lock was ok.
I have no idea what to check now.
