I recently purchased a pair of suspension dampers for the above unit. The reason for replacing them was excessive noise during spin. The noise was related to the drum violently shaking in the machine and not a “Bearing” type noise. Prior to the spin cycle, the machine appears to go through a load balancing cycle (I think that is what you guys call it) and then spins.
The original dampers had a reference on them of 140N and the new ones appear to be rated at 100N. In my haste to replace the dampers I did not note which of the lower brackets the dampers came from. There are three molded sections on each side through which the damper retaining pin can pass from either end, with the “Pin Clip” locking through the centre bracket. HELP!
