LG WD1050 FHB error DE

Good evening all,

Lady just been on phone has a LG WD1050 FHB, error DE coming up meaning door open or not locked however she says door is locked and after an initial 4 beeps the machine then continues to do full wash with no other probs, she says this has been going on for about a week, any suggestions much appreciated.

Hi Silverbroom,

strip the door trim off and you will find one end of the door handle/catch hinge pin has come out of its locating hole, failing that its the door interlock thats faulty.

Thanks for your prompt reply, sounds a similar problem that some Indesit doors had a while back.

Checked door today which turned out to be OK, so will be ordering interlock and try that as per your suggestion, thanks again.

Just to let you know, new interlock fitted and problem now solved, sorry for delay in getting back to you but computer was in the menders.
