Went to an LG WD12126RD Washer displaying an “LE” fault code. The one with the direct drive motor on the back of the tub. On any rotation, the motor makes jerky motions, then locks up solid – can’t move it. With the power off the drum rotates freely, no problem with bearings.

I’ve been told it is the Hall sensor, built into the stator coil assembly but available separately as part No 6501KW2002A – but I cannot find anyone who stocks it. Or do I have to buy the whole stator coil assembly?

    Can anyone help with this?

    Cheers

    Thanks guys.

Am I right in saying that if I buy the stator (coil) assembly this includes the Hall effect sensor?

If this is the case it might be wise to play safe and buy the stator assembly..

just a quick word of warning i had one last month with same error code that turned out to be the board . I noticed that the large black capacitor on the old board was slightly domed on top 😉
