we have one showing de which is door open changed door switch same error replaced main board same error.there is only one live to switchside of interlock nothing on bimetal strip contacts help please. M

Hi Machineman,
have you looked to see if the door latch assy is sitting at the correct position, we have had abt 6 of these LG machines showing DE errors and all of them had a bent latch pin on the door assembly,

we have had the thing in pieces m/c works if you push the contacts of the switch. the problem seems to be on the feed to the time delay part any idea where that feed comes from M

Bit of a delay here but.
If the machine operates when you operate the door switch manually its got to be the door latch i have as the last reply, fitted many doors due to damaged door latches or somes times doors that look ok, i had to fit complete doors as thats all LG supply , The LG Web site is not perfect but all of the tech info is there one tip display all uk products and then scroll down to the one you require.

thanks knobby but it only works when you take the door switch apart and push the contacts together if you just move the slider nothing works and up pops the fault code .m
