    Hi,

This is my wife’s washing machine, I kindly bought it for her a while ago.

It’s out of warranty, my wife have every confidence in me to repair it should it go wrong.

Basically, the machine wobbles so much when it was spinning. The machine is stable and no movement apart from the drum inside. I can’t find any excessive play. The bearings appears to be fine apart from a very slight movement but this is not what causing the excessive wobble.

The weights on the front appears to be tight fit, the dampers feels a little weak but I am not sure and so are the springs on the top particularly the larger spring. It’s rusted up which I thought it was rather odd. No obvious damp. I am leaning toward weak springs rather the damper being the culprit.

In theory I could replace the lot – dampers and springs to see it helps?

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks,

I have replaced all the shockers on the machine so it seems to be doing a lot better. The parts were not as expensive as I thought.

As my experiences with shockers, it could be anything between £10 to £30 each, but with this machine, £4 each, and they are genuine.
