Pretty sure that tub comes out the front, far easier that way.
BTW caps lock off next time, Alro.

Hi Alro
This may have the old style tank which has the front of the tub plate that comes off or that the tank comes completely out of the front in one go dependant if the bearings have ben changed previously.either way the thank can come out of the front of the machine.

Hi guys,
I’ve just had an enquiry about a bearing job on a LG WM1460FHD. Before I take it on, I just wanted to know if it’s pretty much as described previously. Does it being direct drive cause any aditional complications? Anyone got a number for the bearing kit and any other parts required. What are the bearing sizes?
Cheers,
Dave

Dunno about bearing sizes but the tub design is similar to the Zanussis and will come out through the front. Direct drive system is easy – remove the pulley(rotor) then unbolt the winding assembly.

You can get the back half of the tub, which makes life a lot easier.
If you do go down this route it is worth ordering in a heater as well as 95{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time they leak when you put them back.
