My LG Direct drive washing machine will, intermittinately but getting more frequent, go through the complete washing cycle and then with between 8 and 3 minutes to go (to complete the spin cycle), it will stop spinning and then start to re-fill, as if in a rinse cycle. It will continue doing this and after 15 minutes I switch the machine off and then carryout a spin only cycle which it sometimes completes or goes into the routine of filling with water (again like a rinse cycle) with between 8 and 3 minutes to complete the cycle. I have flushed out the drum with clean water and this seemed to cure it but only for a couple of washes. Can anyone give advice?

Carry out a few boil washes without any powder or clothes in.it may well be youve got a build up of sludge which sometimes can be cleared or may need a engineer visit.

What r600 means is, a washing machine maintenance wash as if you put clothes in with it then it won’t work too well.
