LG WM 1485FHD Intelo Washer 7kg door error

Please can anyone advise me how to rectify the fault on my LG ? The machine gets all ready to set off and then it flashes d e and I have to gently bash the door, where it latches, several times to make it start. Unfortunately it takes more and more bashes each time. I have not had it apart yet but feel sure it is going to be necessary. 🙁

you could try changing the door lock, that will do it

open the door, release the spring from around the door seal, peel the seal back, undo the 2 screws on the lock and it should come out

just make sure the plugs out

Hi bruffy

the fault will be either :-

there is a pin that holds the door handle & pecker in place in the door assembly,if this slips out of place then this fault will occure,refit correctly and it’ll work.. numerous ones of this.

the main PCB , the interlocks are normally fairly reliable on this model.

Hi I was wondering how you got on fixing it, as I have the exact problem.
Did you get the door lock part or was it something else?
