LG 7.5kg WM1225FD. Washes, drains but will not spin on any cycle. OE light comes on display indicating a drain problem but drain, hose, filter is not blocked Any ideas what the problem might be? Thank you for your consideration.

check the stand pipe it empties into (make sure it’s clear), remove filter and have look in side, make there are no coins, especially 5p pieces, no elastics bands around the impellor. check the impellor, check pipe isn’t kinked or blocked with crud….. how quickly does it drain??? should take 30-45 seconds as a rule (slightly more for some programmes like woollens)….. check these first, see how you get on.
