lg wm1280FHD door stuck

hi, door locked(door spring snapped?)cant release it from inside machine 😕 cant even force it from the front. anyone got any info on these things ❓ or tips. i can only think of breaking the interlock,but they are £30. seems alot if it is only a spring that has gone ❓

the door handle has snapped it is available on its own, all you need is an old credit card slide it between the door and front of the appliance at door latch hieght and push hard it will open it.

Hi

get a length of strong string,grasp tightly each end and place the centre of the string at the side centre of the door where the door catch is and then pull across the door so that the string goes between the door frame and machine and then give a sharp tug with both hands.

hi bob, and bryan, i tried undoing latch with screwdriver and the thing was stuck fast ❗ but i shall give it a go on friday. the string theory sounds good 💡 cheers guys.
