LG WM14316FD s/n 503KWK500429

I’d be grateful for any help in identifying genuine drum parts for an LG WM-14316FD washing machine. I need the inner and outer drum bearings, the bearing seal and the drum spider.

The bearings shown on Connections are too big for the tub (I know because I have received the parts and have stripped the drum). The Connect part number enquiries team have just taken 24 hours to throw back the same wrong part numbers. Seme Nedis say the bearings and spider are not available as they are not on their list of 24 parts for this model!

And someone persuaded the OFT that tech info was readiliy available to the trade!?!

Yep, just had this last month and took me 3 weeks to convince connect their info was wrong, but so is the info on the LG website. :rolls:

The kit you need is Connects Brg9111 ( I have no idea what the gen nos. are)

Thanks Bazza, useful you can confirm BRG9111 will fit, as although out of stock, they do list genuine equivalents. After a bit of digging around the part numbers seem to be 4036ER2003A (seal), 4280FR4048B (bearing outer) 4280FR4048C (bearing inner). I’ll order the spider identified by Connect and hope it fits.

After all that, ordered in rear tub half (3045ER0030D) as inner bearing rusted in. New tub half has the bigger bearings. Spider (4434ER1008A) and drum seal (4036ER4001A) fitted. Over £300 repair cost, but drum hopefully last longer than first one.
