    Hello,

Can someone help with this machine.

It is an LG WM1433FD Washing machine.

Appliance was reported as dead and a Main Control Module Diagnosed.

    The Module was replaced.

After only a few washes the machine failed, then came back on after 2 hours. After a few problamatic washes, the customer called us to say the problem mainly occurs on short wash.

Eventually we had to call back as the appliance was dead.

Upon inspecting this Module, the Large Capacitor on the board has popped the end off!

Can anyone shed any light as to what may be causing the issues please?

I did reply to this earlier but my post has disappeared 😕 I suggested fitting a new capacitor. I know it’s buried in silicone but it could still be done.

Thanks, looks like a tricky job. Often repair boards but might hand this one back to LG.

Just wondered if something in particular is causing the problem!

What is that Capacitor on the main board for? Anyone?

The big rectangular one? I think it’ll be interference suppressor.
