LG WM1485FHD programme help.

LG WM1485FHD washer. Direct drive motor type.

I have acquired this machine and all seems perfect. While I had the machine on a test program, I tried to stop the cycle to drain the machine. I pressed the ‘Pause’ button but try as I might, it seems as if once a program is set and started, you can’t alter or abort it. Surely I’m missing the bleedin’ obvious and there must be a way to do this?

You cannot change program without cancelling it – just switch it off and re-select. 😀

I wanted to select a spin only cycle – but you seem to only be able to do complete start to finish wash / rinse / spin.
Can’t be done I suppose. Disappointing omission considering what it would have cost new. 🙁

i have one of these and i can select spin only cycle.
turn the machine on and without selecting a program, press the spin button. pressing again will alter the spin speed.
press start and off you go.

Sorry never realised you wanted to do spin only.

Alf_uckem is correct but not all lg can select spin only on some you have to do rinse and spin @ 19mins pain really. 😀

Hi

Holding in the start button will stop the program and pump out whilst the button is depressed but you need to hold the button in for approx 10 seconds.
