I don`t see many LG`s so am a little ignorant on them. It is the type that has the drum pulley as the motor rotor. There is no motor action and the display reads `LE` error code. Customer says her manual describes it as `motor overload`. The UKW book describes it as a `door lock fault`. Can any one give any pointers and confirm the `LE` fault code meaning – it is only 2 years old. LE LOCK ERROR CHECK LEAD 3 PIN TO STATOR – PCB LEAD – REPAIR REPLACE HALL SENSOR IN STATOR FAULTY REPLACE STATOR IE WATER INLET ERROR WATER NOT REACHED PRE-SET LEVEL February 6, 2008 at 9:51 am #242296 laurenceukParticipant Re: LG WM16220FD Wash M/c No Motor Action? Thanks Lerch. Just to clarify please – is this the correct way to read the LE description. Lock error. Check lead – 3 pin to stator (PCB lead). Repair or replace Hall sensor in stator. If faulty replace stator. Not knowledgeable on these machines – what is a Hall sensor?
